The unspoilt nature of Nethergong enables hundreds of wildlife species to thrive and live harmoniously with our temporary human guests.
Location
Based in the heart of East Kent, Nethergong has both wooded and open areas across our twenty-six-acre site that are perfect for camping and glamping.

The site itself is beautiful, with varied terrain to make your camp interesting. You can choose to camp in the big field with lots of other tents if you are feeling sociable or find your own secluded spot in the woods or by a pond.

The toilets and showers were clean, lots of lovely hot water. My kids adored the frog pong and feeding the fish, we made a den in the forest, enjoyed marshmallows by our campfire every night - Jed brings the logs round every afternoon which is brilliant.

The kids loved playing in the woods, exploring the frog pond and running around the fields. They loved the kayaking where we found a very nice pub within walking distance, and the fridge/freezer and washing machine came in handy.

There was lots of wildlife around which was wonderful apart from the biting insects so do take mozzie repellant and anti-histamine. We made a detour to Whistable on the way home, ate oysters and chips and did a bit of window shopping. Highly recommended!

Great family weekend. Our boys (aged 3 & 5) loved exploring the woods, rowing in the lake and catching Newts in the pond. The Friday night pizzas made life that much easier after pitching up and settling in. We will definitely be back next year.

As a seasoned camper I can honestly say that this is one of if not the best campsites in the UK. It has absolutely everything you need for a fun time with your friends and family. The team simply can’t do enough to make you feel welcome and whatever the weather or time of day have a warm greeting for you. Our kids can’t wait for our next visit and neither can I! Lewis is a legend and makes the best pizzas!

Beautiful, relaxed campsite where the children just ran free and played constantly with other children. Pizzas excellent on our Friday arrival, made that first night easy to feed the kids and meant we could open a beer on arrival and relax. Ask Lewis, one of the owners to do his special pizza dance whilst he's in front of the the pizza oven!

We had a brilliant stay at Nethergong. It was our second stay and the friendly and helpful team were as good as ever. The kids loved roaming around the site and playing with all the other children. The food available was excellent and the facilities were all clean and well maintenance. See you next year!
