Terms & conditions

One of the attractions of camping with us (we've been told) is our lack of rules! That said, there are always some given expected behaviours, so here goes.

  • We are a family campsite and don't expect (or get) rowdy or rude behaviour towards other campers. This includes loud music.
  • We ask you to please not tear down branches from the trees to use as firewood. It doesn't burn and hurts the trees.
  • Deposits are normally non-refundable unless a minimum of 28 days cancellation notice is given. However we will refund or defer to 2021 any deposits made for bookings from July-October 2020 should you be unable to fulfil your booking due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
  • Dogs must be kept under your control at all times, preferably on a lead.
  • We reserve the right to ask you to leave the site if we wish.

Sauna Terms and Conditions

1. Health and Safety

  • Users with pre-existing health conditions, including but not limited to heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, pregnancy, or respiratory issues, should consult their physician before using the sauna.
  • Do not use the sauna while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water before, during, and after sauna use.
  • Limit sauna sessions to a maximum of 20 minutes at a time (we recommend 5-15 minute sessions followed by cold plunge).
  • Exit the sauna immediately if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, or unwell.
  • Children from 12-15 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Do not touch or tamper with the sauna heating elements or controls, and only pour water on the stones as instructed.
  • Proper beach footwear is required outside to prevent slips and falls.
  • Do not bring any flammable materials into the sauna.
  • Do not bring food or drink into the sauna, with the exception of water.
  • Any hanging jewelry, metal fastenings on swimwear, phones, or other electronic devices should not be taken into the sauna.

2. Hygiene

  • Sit or lie on a towel to maintain hygiene.
  • Proper attire is required – i.e., swimwear and beach shoes for outside.

3. Conduct

  • Maintain a quiet and respectful atmosphere.
  • No running or horseplay is allowed in the sauna area.
  • Respect the privacy of other users.
  • Do not pour water on the heating elements in excessive amounts.
  • No glass containers are permitted in the sauna.
  • Only swimwear is to be worn in the sauna.
  • Remove footwear before entering the sauna.
  • Do not stay in the sauna for longer than 20 minutes at a time – we recommend 5-15 minute sessions followed by cold plunge.

4. Liability

  • Use of the sauna is at your own risk.
  • The facility is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur.
  • The facility is not responsible for lost items.
  • Users are responsible for any damage they cause to the sauna or its equipment.
  • The facility reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who violates these terms and conditions.

5. Facility Rules

  • The facility reserves the right to close the sauna for maintenance or other reasons.
  • These terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.
  • Adhere to all posted signage within the sauna area.

6. Acknowledgement

  • By using the sauna, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • If more than 28 days from booking, then a full refund is given.
  • If less than 28 days from booking, then a 50% refund is given.
  • If less than 48 hours from booking, then no refund is given.

Silent Disco Hire Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

  • "The Company" refers to Nethergong Events Ltd.
  • "The Hirer" refers to the individual or entity hiring the equipment.
  • "The Equipment" refers to the silent disco headphones, transmitters, and associated accessories.
  • "The Hire Period" refers to the agreed-upon duration of the rental.

2. Hire Agreement

  • This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between The Company and The Hirer.
  • By hiring The Equipment, The Hirer agrees to these terms and conditions.

3. Hire Period and Payment

  • The Hire Period will be as specified in the booking process.
  • A payment for the full amount is required to secure booking (or email lewis@nethergongcamping.co.uk to secure).
  • A security deposit of £80 will be taken on collection and refunded at the end of the hire period.

4. Collection

  • The Hirer will collect The Equipment from the shop on agreed day and time, and return to the same location at the end of the hire period.

5. Equipment Responsibility

  • The Hirer is responsible for The Equipment during the Hire Period.
  • The Hirer will take reasonable care to prevent damage, loss, or theft.
  • Any damaged or lost equipment will be charged at the replacement cost of £10/unit.
  • The Hirer will use The Equipment in accordance with the provided instructions.
  • The Hirer will not apply stickers or other items to the equipment.

6. Liability and Insurance

  • The Company's liability is limited to the cost of the hire.
  • The Company is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 28 days or more prior to the Hire Period will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 28 days of the Hire Period will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the Hire Period will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

8. Equipment Condition and Operation

  • The Equipment will be provided in good working order.
  • The Hirer must report any faults or defects immediately.
  • The Hirer will not attempt to repair the equipment.

9. General Conduct

  • The Hirer agrees to use the equipment responsibly and respectfully.
  • The Hirer agrees to keep loud noise to a minimum after 10:30pm and respect fellow campers.

10. Returns

  • All equipment must be returned in the same condition it was received.
